Friends of the Library

friends

We really value our Friends.  And we’d love to have you join us.  The Friends of the Catawba County Library volunteer together to support and share our enthusiasm for the library.  We sponsor  library programming and vibrant summer reading programs.

We act as ambassadors for literacy and the library, participate in programming and events, and raise funds through membership drives, book sales, and other special projects.  We provide community outreach and promote the library every chance we get.

Membership in the Friends gives you the opportunity to volunteer and work with other dedicated advocates who share your enthusiasm for the library and all that it has to offer.

To Join Us – call the Catawba County Library System Friends at  828-465-8292

From Our Customers!

The library staff are warm, loving, caring people. The first thing I find in a new city is the library. We found friends when we moved to Newton. Many of those friends are the library staff.”
